We Don't Just Treat Pain.
We Rebuild Performance.

The Motion Chiropractic & Sports Performance was built around one idea: getting you back to the sport, the gym, or the life you had before the injury — not just out of pain.

// Meet Dr. Justin Kersten

Dr. Justin Kersten is a movement-focused chiropractor, rehabilitation specialist, and founder of The Motion Chiropractic & Sports Performance. A former two-sport collegiate athlete, Dr. Kersten understands how frustrating it can be when pain prevents you from training, competing, or simply living life on your terms.

He also believes you deserve more than a rushed appointment and a temporary fix.

At The Motion, Dr. Kersten takes the time to listen, evaluate how the entire body moves, and identify the factors that may be causing pain or limiting performance. Because the location of pain is not always the source of the problem, his assessments look beyond symptoms and imaging alone. The goal is to understand what your body can do, where it is being limited, and what needs to change to create lasting progress.

His approach combines hands-on chiropractic care, soft-tissue treatment, corrective exercise, and progressive strength and movement training. Every treatment plan is individualized and designed to move patients through a complete continuum of care — from reducing pain and restoring function to building the strength, mobility, and confidence needed to perform at a higher level.

Dr. Kersten works with active adults, competitive athletes, golfers, and people who have struggled to find answers through conventional care. Whether someone wants to return to the golf course, compete without limitation, avoid recurring flare-ups, or simply feel capable in their body again, treatment is built around the demands of their real life — not a generic protocol.

His philosophy is simple: temporary relief is not the finish line, rest alone rarely restores performance, and an MRI does not define what someone is capable of achieving. The purpose of care is not to create dependency — it is to give patients the treatment, education, and physical capacity they need to move forward with confidence.

For Dr. Kersten, success means more than helping someone feel better. It means helping them return to what they love — and preparing their body to keep doing it.
